Beginning at 21:19 MST, we received a false alert that our broadcasting portal was down. We could get to the portal without issue, and nothing appeared to be incorrect with the system or its operations. Eventually, it was discovered that when we had removed our Cloudflare Zero Trust portal protection from the system's login page, we set the portal to only allow connections from the United States. Our node with Better Uptime was trying to ping the portal from the US, but also Europe, Asia, and Australia. Since it was technically considered "unavailable" in these regions, a downtime event was triggered. Once we adjusted our node here to only ping the site from the United States, it was able to immediately resolve the incident.
